I would first love to lift up our Lord for giving the strength to detox myself from a long period of alcohol abuse. God thank you so much for this forum that allowed me to read others trials that where much more trying than my own and allow me to pray for then instead of drown in my own self pitty and the pitiful condition of my physical body. Thank you Lord for all of your children, especially the ones who offered me hope when my hands where shaking so badly I could barely type. I know all of this is you lord for in my darkest moment you lead me to a source of light and strength. I praise you lord for making it financially possible for me to get into treatment on monday. Although my body aches lord, my hands shake, I have little other than my family. I am contempt in you Lord and I feel stronger than I have ever felt before! no matter how weak and malnourished my body is. Take your servants life and do with it what i would never be able to do myself. I pray for more trials ahead to build a useful and wise servant. I thank you for your holy spirit Lord which is no longer a barely lite candle in my heart but instead has become a raging fire that has completely consumed my heart. To loose this would be the most terrible trajegedy I can think of. Thank you lord for bringing me so low that I could not live as my prideful self. Thank you lord for allowing me to cry not in self pitty but in the humility of being in the presence of such and awesome and forgiving power. Give me strenth in the months ahead, to learn to live without the evils of liquor, and to make ammends to your children that I have hurt. forgive me of my sins AMEN Thank all of you loving and caring believers who give me strength by your own trials posted on here. I can come here when personal fellowship in real life is not available and gain strength to see one more night through. Thank you for caring when so many in the world condemn. I love all of you in christ.

Father, Thank you for this opportunity for Wolfe89 to go into treatment for alcoholism. Thank you for giving him the desire to become sober and to stay sober. Please bless him with quality sobriety for the rest of his life. Please use the personnel who will be involved in the treatment clearly to explain the main elements of living life without drinking, how to stay away from alcohol, how to spot & avoid triggers and how to recognize when he is building up to drink. I ask that you give him good physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. I praise you for Wolfe89 and ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord, I trust that You will be right by his side as he walks through the valley that leads to freedom from addiction to alcohol. Thank You for what You have done to bring him to the point of detoxification for his physical body, and I pray that You will continue to do a mighty work in his spirit. Bless him, strengthen him for the journey ahead, and protect him from the evil one. Thank You for all that You are going to do in his life. I pray in Jesus' Most Precious name, Amen.
