Not a specific verse but here are some Promises of Answer to Prayer
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land 2Chr 7:14
You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows to him.
Job 22:27

Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the ends of the earth as your possession. Ps 2:8
He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them Ps 145:19
The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayers of the righteous. Pro 15:29
Then when you call, the LORD will answer. `Yes, I am here,' he will quickly reply. "Stop oppressing the helpless and stop making false accusations and spreading vicious rumors! Is 58:9
I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking to me about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers! Is 65:24
In those days when you pray, I will listen. Jer 29:12
Ask me and I will tell you some remarkable secrets about what is going to happen here.
Jer 33:3

But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father secretly. Then your Father, who knows all secrets, will reward you. Mat 6:6
"Keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened. 8For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And the door is opened to everyone who knocks. 11 If you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.
Mat 7:7-8, & 11

"I also tell you this: If two of you agree down here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. 20For where two or three gather together because they are mine, I am there among them." Mat 18:19-20
Jesus looked at them intently and said, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible." Mat 19:26
If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." Mat 21:22
I assure you that you can say to this mountain, `May God lift you up and throw you into the sea,' and your command will be obeyed. All that's required is that you really believe and do not doubt in your heart. 24Listen to me! You can pray for anything, and if you believe, you will have it. Mark 11:23-24
You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, because the work of the Son brings glory to the Father. 14Yes, ask anything in my name, and I will do it! John 14:13-14
But if you stay joined to me and my words remain in you, you may ask any request you like, and it will be granted! John 15:7
You didn't choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. John 15:16
At that time you won't need to ask me for anything. The truth is, you can go directly to the Father and ask him, and he will grant your request because you use my name. 24You haven't done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy. John 16:23-24
Cornelius stared at him in terror. "What is it, sir?" he asked the angel. And the angel replied, "Your prayers and gifts to the poor have not gone unnoticed by God! Acts 10:4
If you need wisdom--if you want to know what God wants you to do--ask him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking. Jam 1:5
And their prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make them well. And anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven. 16Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results. James 5:15-16
And we will receive whatever we request because we obey him and do the things that please him. 1John 3:22
And we can be confident that he will listen to us whenever we ask him for anything in line with his will. 1John 5:14

Daniel 9:1-20. Everytime I read this prayer I get stirred up to pray. This great man of God humbling himself and crying out not for himself only but for his entire nation. "We do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousness, but for thy great mercy". Such a beautiful prayer.

Our Compassionate High Priest

Hebrews 4:15-16 NKJ

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Romans 1:9-10 God, whom I serve with my whole heart in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you in my prayers at all times; and I pray that now at last by God's will the way may be opened for me to come to you.

Matthew 8:24 NASB
And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep.

I also liked this part of a commentary:
quote:

We are impressed by the fact that He could sleep. His mind and heart were peaceful enough, trusting in the love and care of His Father in heaven, that He could sleep in the storm.
