Please be the papa of the elderly, the lonely dear older people who have no real friends or family to take care of them.
Please bring them joy.

Lord,
I pray for the lady we visited last night in the nursing home. She was so sad and misses her home and her little dog that she had to leave behind. If there is a way Lord that she could heal and go home, I pray that you would make a way for her. If not, please comfort her where she is. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

Loving Father,
Thank you for the longevity that you have given to so many people nowadays. Please have mercy on those who are suffering from their old age and illness. We ask that you shower blessings of your choice on them and help them to feel comforted. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ for your blessings on the Elderly. Amen.

I thank you for our elderly, it saddens me that there are those that don't see their great value. Help us as a people to be more aware of the value of our elderly and remember them as they grow older and unable to care for themselves. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

Lifting up the elderly to you on the Lord's day. Father, many used to have big family gatherings on Sunday's, and I ask you fill their hearts with love today. Let them feel useful, needed and loved.
Protect their hearts and hold them close dear Lord.

Thank you Lord for our elderly, thank you for the steadfast faith we see in many of them. Bless their lives and take care of them as they grow older, help them as they walk through changing times to just keep holding onto your hand. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.
