Lord, I'd like to pray against the discouragement that we feel at times as singles who desire to be married. Please lead us away from the lies that the enemy would have us believe regarding our futures.
Help us to remember that you see our struggles, that you hear our cries. Please help us to remember that no person can fulfill our desires, and help us to focus on you first and foremost.
Lord, I'd like to lift up my single brothers and sisters on this site, those I know personally, and the future spouses of them all. I pray that you would draw them nearer to you and continue to reveal your truth to us all.
In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for understanding the desires of our heart. I lift up these who have come for prayer for a christian mate and ask that you would send them someone very special to share their life who would be good to them and good for them. I also pray for my daughter, that you would bless her in this way. You know my heart, I don't want her to be alone should anything happen to me. I thank you Lord for hearing our prayers and loving us enough to care about where we are in our lives. Comfort these until this prayer is answered. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

amen. I pray that the LORD would help us to feel peace as we trust Him and follow Him to where our future partner (s) are- each of us. I pray for His perfect timing, perfect will, and perfect love, in Jesus' name. Amen. amen. God is Good!

I pray that your answer to these prayers would be above and beyond all that we ask or think, but until that answer comes, I pray that all would draw close to you and you would be the one that fills all the needs of their heart. Thank you for singles who desire to become married but having trouble finding a mate. Please give them encouragement. Work it out so they will find someone who extols your values and walks with you. It's so cool how God is using your prayers, dear brother, to build up my faith -- just today I was talking about my church's need to be sure that singles of all adult ages know that they are included in activities for singles. (We do a pretty good job of including singles in the overall bodylife of the church.)
Thank you for remembering us singles and coming alongside us as we grow in Christ.
Father, thank You for the mentors You have placed in our lives. Thank You for our pastors and other church leaders who seek to do Your will, speak the Word into our lives, help prepare us for the next stage of life, and give us wise counsel.
May we in turn encourage our married friends, support them, and remember to pray for them. Father, show us how we can be unofficial members of their families and can invest in their lives and in the lives of their children.
Thank You for the family of faith. What a sweet treasure You have created here on earth!!

I don't want to be negative here, but sometimes the answer to a prayer is no. I am 50 and I really don't expect to get married at this late date. I was in love once and he died, so I really don't know if I will be getting married at all. Just because you want something, doesn't mean you'll get it. God is not Santa. You don't get to tell Him what you want and then wait for Him to deliver it. I know people don't want to hear that, but it's the truth.
God, if we aren't meant to be married, give us the peace that passes all understanding about it. Amen.

Sarah wanted a child and God did not answer that prayer for many many years. If it is still a desire of your heart, do not give up praying about it. We serve an awesome God who wants to hear from us and who cares.
