Lord, I pray for this family to be reunited, together again, and that all would be walking with you, even Josh's dad. Please let this child be reunited with his mom and granddad. thank you that he knows you. Please soften the hearts of the family in England. Convict them of the right thing to do. In Jesus' name--Amen.

Continue to pray for Josh..I haven't been able to talk to him in two months..I call, they (his dad and grandmum) do not answer...My daughter has not got to talk to her child in two months..

I miss that little red headed feller..he is now six years old.

Bro Irvin
Our Father, I must admit my heart sunk but I thank You that You lift us right up again for with You nothing is impossible. I just know if that is my reaction I'm sure grandpa, Bro Irvin, and his daughter, Josh's mother really have been in need of Your comfort and encouragement. Keep them strengthened, filled with hope and peace. I lift Josh up in prayer~may he know in every bit of his little being that he is loved by You, and his family back home. Please intervene in this situation and reunite this family. In Jesus the Messiah's name I pray. Amen.

Father, I continue to remember Josh and this family in my prayers. I pray that You will divinely intervene, Lord, and show those who have Josh how much this family is missing him. Lord, please allow the doors of communication to open back up. This family is hurting, I believe Josh is, too. He needs to atleast be able to speak to his mother. I ask that You please put a halt to this wicknedness and bring forth goodness in this situation. Asking all this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen

Father in Heaven, I keep Josh and his mother in my prayers. I continue to lift them up to You asking for Your favor in bringing forth a reunion between this mother and child. Please, Lord, allow the communication to begin again. Soften the hardened hearts of those who are keeping Josh from even speaking to his mother. I pray, Lord, for You to allow Josh to come home. I ask these things believing that You will bring goodness from this and our prayers will soon be answered. Please, Lord, let it be so. In Jesus' precious name, I pray for Bro. Irvin and his loved ones. Amen

I did get to talk to Josh for a few minutes last Monday..Joy (His Mom) got to talk to him last Saturday. He sounded good, except he said he missed all of us. A couple of weeks ago, I sent him a letter, which he got. In the letter, I put a xeroxed copy of his little hand (he gave me a card with his hand on it last year for grandparents day), and a xeroxed copy of my hand. We had a routine, ever time I'd see him, I'd say, "Put your hand next to mine and see how much it has grown"..Well, he told me that he put his hand on my xeroxed one, and his hand has grown much!

His dad, David, answered the phone when I called, and didn;t even acknowledge me, he just said, "Josh, it's your Papa". At least I got to talk to him. And his Uncle Joel (my son) also got to talk to him.

We sure do miss that little red headed feller!

Thanks for all of your continued prayers. It is appreciated..."The Lord hears and answers our prayers, I cast on Him my cares. I know somehow, somewherte the answer will surely be there"

Bro Irvin

Thank you so much for the update, Bro. Irvin. I can barely hold back my tears. I am keeping you all in my prayers.
Father, I thank You for these blessings. I am grateful that Joy and grandpa was able to speak to Josh. Please, I pray, Lord that You will continue to soften the heart of this father. Trusting that Josh will be reunited with his very here. God, with You, this is possible.

Oh my . . same here Bro. Irvin . . . I am a grandmother so this makes me weep for you and your daughter and this little red-headed feller!

Father, please continue to make a way so that Bro. Irvin and Joy can talk to this precious child. I ask that You make a way where there appears to be none so that they can see him and visit with him more, and I pray that You will ultimately bring him back home. Lord, I hate how broken family relationships hurt the children so much. I pray for your protection over this boy, his mom and grandad. I know that Jesus has already won the ultimate victory over the evil one, but I hate to see him win one battle even if he has already lost the war. Father, please don't let him win in this situation. I continue to pray for Your Will because You always know what is best. I thank You for hearing and answering our prayers.

In Jesus' Precious name,
Amen.

I also know the sadness you must feel bro Irvin. God bless you.
Lord I ask that you make a way for this much loved child to be with all who love him. Please speak to the heart of the father. I pray the father will put himself in the place of the mother, the grandfather, the uncles etc. who also love Josh. Cause him to stop and think how awful it would be to have only a few cherished moments with his child. Please bring this child home, Lord.

Our Father in Heaven, like my sisters the sadness clings to me. Thank You for this resilient little boy, Josh, and for Bro Irv. What a thoughtful and touching letter to send his grandson, to close the gap of the miles. I can just imagine him placing his small hand (which has grown much) upon the xeroxed copy of his grandfather's. May You grow in his young heart. I pray he will soon be reunited with mom Joy, Uncle Joel, and his grandfather our bro irv. In the name of our Lord Jesus I pray. May God's will be done. To Him be the glory. Amen.

Update...I talked to Josh two times in the last three weeks..Last Sunday morning, he called me and it was a blessing!

I did find Josh's dad on myspace, and just today read this update: "3/7/10 to 16/7/10 bi weekly report
Josh has had a good 2 weeks, he had sports day and came second in the moonball bouncing race, and 4th in his race. he also had a class assembly where all the childrens parents was invited to see them talk and sing about australia.
His report came in also and is above adveridge in all of his subjects and of course top in maths. "

My daughter, Joy (Josh's mom), is doing pretty good. She got remarried, and both of them are attending church regularly. She had a fairly good job, also, but found out she was pregnant (after she was sick for a few days)and had to take a leave of absence..the doctor don't want her working because of her age (she ain't but 35)...Looks like Josh is going to have twin brothers, or twin sisterss, or another brother and sister, and I'll have two more grandbabies to pray for!!.

Thanks for all of your sincere prayers.

Bro Irvin

Father I thank you that Josh is doing well and is healthy. I pray that he also will receive good spiritual guidance and be taught of you and realize that knowing you is the best thing he can do in this life. I thank you that you have provided this grandfather who will do all he can to see Josh has this. I pray for Josh's mother and the pain she must endure at having lost him. Thank you for bringing this new life to her but I feel a pang at thinking Josh may not be there to share in this blessed event. Keep her and her unborn children safe, Lord

Thank you so much in updating us. I've continued to keep you all in my prayers and your family will remain in my heart.
God, this is an exciting update to this story. I join in giving Thee thanks for watching over and keeping Josh safe. I ask for Your continued blessings and for all to work out in accordance to Your plan. Agreeing wholeheartedly with Sarju's prayer for Josh to have spiritual guidance. I believe Bro. Irvin sowed the seeds when he was a baby. I pray that someone in Josh's life is helping them to flourish and grow. Praying also for Joy and the new babies. May Your hand of protection be also on them. I still pray also for the day when Joy and Josh will reunite. Trusting in You for all things. Asking in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
